September DAISY Award Winner – Kristy Fee

Kristy Fee, a nurse on our medical-surgical floor, has been awarded Fort Sanders Regional’s September DAISY Award! Kristy was nominated by a patient who described how the care she provided made the difference in their hospital stay. The patient was under several restrictions while being treated and Kristy took the extra time to encourage them and do little things to improve their time in the hospital. Kristy’s actions kept the patient’s spirits up until they were able to be discharged.
