Congratulations to our first group of Growing Education through Me (G.E.M.) students at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center for obtaining their CNA certification! This first group of G.E.M. students seeking CNA certification partnered with Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) to earn their certifications. All 6 employees who participated in the program passed the state certification exam and now are Certified Nurse Assistants. Congratulations Tiffany Dunlap, Mary Gallaher, Stephanie Lowe, Noah McGinnis, Crystal Pokorny and Miranda Womack on your accomplishment.
At Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, we value continuing education. Our G.E.M. program was created to provide additional education and skill to staff providing direct patient care. G.E.M.’s primary focus is to give employees an environment to practice learned skills and grow as a team. The program develops a standardization of processes to increase overall quality and reliability, and includes training from departments touching all parts of the hospital.
