Fort Sanders Regional Recognizes 2018 Clinical Excellence Award Winners

During National Nurses Week, May 6-12, Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center announced the 2018 recipients of the hospital’s annual Clinical Excellence in Nursing Awards. Twenty-nine members of the hospital’s clinical staff were recognized as outstanding nurses during a special ceremony.

The awards signify the exceptional care and compassion that the honored individuals regularly give to their patients in areas throughout the hospital. For nursing excellence honorees, the awards are especially meaningful because the employees are nominated by their nursing co-workers who provide care alongside them. The final winners are then selected by a panel of hospital leaders that includes past honorees.
