FLAME Award Winner – Sarah Mills

Congratulations to FLAME Award winner Sarah Mills! Sarah is an imaging technician in our radiology department who was nominated for the FLAME award by a coworker. Her nominator said that Sarah was passing through the ICU one evening when a patient went into cardiopulmonary arrest requiring immediate resuscitation efforts. As ICU staff rushed to the patient, Sarah joined them and assisted with compressions. She told the nurses that she would help however she could because they were all one team caring for this patient. Thank you, Sarah, for putting this patient and all of your patients first and for supporting the team at Fort Sanders Regional!
