FLAME Award Winner – Ray Henry

Sometimes the smallest things make the biggest impact. Our latest FLAME award winner Ray Henry, who works in outpatient registration, went out of his way to help someone. Ray was nominated for the FLAME award by a fellow staff member who saw him approach a young woman and her son leaving the hospital. The woman had a bandage on her leg and appeared to be having trouble walking. Ray immediately approached the pair and asked if he could help the woman get to where she was going. He went to grab a wheelchair and escorted her and her son to their car. This small gesture not only helped this woman get to where she was going safely but also made an impact on those watching the interaction. This goes to show that the seemingly small things can make difference!
