FLAME Award Winner—Rick Wyrick

Rick Wyrick, nurse coordinator of gamma knife services, is our latest recipient of the Fort Sanders Regional FLAME award. Rick was nominated by a patient who said that Rick was always patient, kind, friendly and incredibly competent. From the beginning of this patient’s experience, Rick was there to explain the treatment process and expectations as well as to answer questions. Rick went the extra mile for this patient, and the patient had Rick at their side from beginning to end. Thanks for taking such excellent care of our patients, Rick!
