FLAME Award Winners – Kim Reneau and Richard Shipley

Its congratulations times two for our MRI department! MRI techs Kim Reneau and Richard Shipley were joint recipients of a FLAME Award after a patient took the time to stop one of our other employees to tell them what a remarkable experience she’d had. This patient had some fears before a scheduled MRI and reached out to the department beforehand to express her concerns. Richard listened and remembered her needs when she came in, and, together with Kim, provided compassionate care that put the patient at ease. The patient called them her “guardian angels.” Thanks, Richard and Kim, for going above and beyond to provide just what this patient needed to feel calm during her test!
