FLAME Award Winner – Maurice Thomas

A familiar face around the hospital as he transports patients from department to department, we are proud to recognize Maurice Thomas as our latest FLAME Award winner! The transporter was nominated by a co-worker turned patient for his exceptional care during a visit. Maurice’s nominator says she was immediately cheered by Maurice’s demeanor and recalls that he sang her a song. She says he “exudes a spirit of genuine caring” and “has the heart of a servant warrior!” Thank you, Maurice, for bringing a smile to the face of everyone you meet and representing Fort Sanders Regional so well!
