FLAME Award Winner- Lt. Jeff Hepler

Congratulations to our latest Flame award winner, Lt. Jeff Hepler! Hepler, a security officer, was nominated by a patient’s daughter for going above and beyond when the patient misplaced personal items after transferring from Fort Sanders Regional to an inpatient rehabilitation facility. When the daughter contacted the security department, Hepler informed her that the items were secured and safe. The daughter explained that her mother had been moved to rehab and she was out of state and could not get her mom’s belongings. His nominator said, “Lt. Hepler personally went to the rehab facility and delivered the items to her. This was such a great relief to our family and we appreciate Lt. Hepler going above and beyond to assist my mom with her missing possessions.” Thank you, Lt. Hepler, for your dedication to our patients and their families.
