FLAME Award Winner – Litaya Slomba

Have you ever been traveling and needed to go to the hospital? Imagine expecting a baby and going into labor out of town! When this happened to a patient who was moving across the country, FSR social worker Litaya Slomba, and recent FLAME Award winner, stepped in and helped arrange needed care for mom and baby in their new home. Litaya’s co-worker, who nominated her for the FLAME Award, says “Litaya has always been amazing” and she “makes a world of difference” to patients every day.
