FLAME Award Winner – Laura Big Eagle

Congratulations to our latest FLAME award winner, Laura Big Eagle, a certified nursing assistant in the cardiovascular intensive care unit!  Laura was nominated by a patient’s wife for demonstrating superb care following her husband’s cardiac episode. She remarked that Laura was consistently friendly, helpful and smiling during their stay at the hospital. She recalled that her husband had asked her to wash his feet before surgery. Laura took notice and immediately returned with a basin of water and soap to not only wash his feet, but also offered him a foot massage as well. Laura is an incredible asset to our team and deserving of this honor.
