January 2021 DAISY Winner – Paul Barnette

Congrats to our January 2021 DAISY award winner Paul Barnette! Paul is a nurse in our complex medicine/ pulmonary unit who made an impression on one of his patient’s experiences. The patient nominated Paul for this award because of his willingness to go above and beyond and to explain what he was doing at every step. The patient said that Paul took the time to do small things that made the difference during their stay. Not only did Paul take excellent clinical care of this patient, he was also kind and caring during the patient’s stay. The patient said that Paul is a true example of what an amazing nurse is.
