Covenant Health Participates in Convalescent Plasma Clinical Trial for COVID-19 Patients

Covenant Health hospitals have joined a nationwide effort to begin treating some COVID-19 patients with convalescent plasma transfusions as part of a clinical trial. Convalescent plasma is donated by patients who have recovered from COVID-19 and is being given experimentally to current COVID-19 patients who are experiencing severe or life-threatening symptoms.
