On behalf of the Administration and staff of Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, I would like to welcome you to our facility and our student nursing program. As the flagship hospital of the Covenant Health system, Fort Sanders boasts the newest technologies, the highest recognitions and the best physicians and staff (well, the last part is our opinion!).
We have been first in the region with new treatments and technologies, including robotically-assisted surgery, tele-stroke medicine, and state-of-the-art rehabilitation services at the Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Center, located within our hospital.
The following is just a sampling of the awards and recognition we have received over the past few months:
- Top Performer from The Joint Commission in the areas of Heart Attack, Pneumonia, Heart Failure and Surgery Care
- First hospital in our region to receive the Joint Commission’s Comprehensive Stroke Center Certification
- Society of Thoracic Surgeons 3-Star Award for Open Heart Surgery
None of these awards and certifications would be possible without teamwork - and you will be a part of that team. A team that strives for improvement, best practices, outstanding outcomes and excellent customer service.
We are excited to have you working with us at Fort Sanders Regional and look forward to helping you achieve your nursing goals.
