Family Practice physicians specialize in caring for each of their patients with extensive medical knowledge acquired through both education and experience. Your physician may manage your care in the hospital or may refer you to a hospitalist – a physician whose practice is based in the hospital. Either way, your physician will follow your progress within the hospital and manage your care once you are discharged.
